Presently, Norman Shabel, Ebenezer’s Entertainment’s founder and celebrated award winning novelist and playwright along with his very excited young staff are searching for a suitable venue in New York City to produce Marty’s Back in Town and three other plays written by Mr. Shabel:
The Condo – A comedy about a Jewish Florida condo association that brings its insane characters to life.
A Class Act – A dueling, legal battle involving real life lawyers from both sides of the case.
The Brothers Wasserman – A very emotional play involving two age 0ld friends who lived as young men in Brownsville, Brooklyn, but went their different paths living life to its fullest – some good and some bad years for each.
Ebenezer’s Entertainment, LLC has commenced its application for non-profit status and hopefully will be fully non-profit in the years to come.
Norman Shabel and his staff, which includes his wife Arleen who is presently converting Are the Lights Still on in Paris? into a musical, are searching for new theater vehicles to produce in both New York and Florida.
